TGIF

You know, TGIF doesn't have the meaning to me it once had. It's funny how much you looked forward to Friday when you worked 5 days a week. But now that I have retired, Fridays just aren't that much different from any other day of the week.
We just got back from having lunch with Glen and Anna Healy. Anna came over and invited us to go to Ephraim for lunch with them. Glen is almost 90 years old and only has one eye that he can see out of so I was all for Lee driving. But they had driven their car down from their house and were all excited about taking us. So, I mustered all the courage I could and said a little prayer and got in their car for the drive to lunch. But as you can see we made it there and back in one piece. It was really sweet of them to take us to lunch. I just wish they could find a place here in Mt. Pleasant to have lunch. Ha, Ha.
Not much else to write right now. So, have a great day and here's a shout out to our Niece, Chis, have a Happy Birthday.

I enjoy my Fridays. I used to not like them when I was little because I hated to not have school. I don't feel the same way anymore. I like being able to get enough sleep on weekends. Plus, I think everything good happens on weekends. Less homework, Church, Volleyball Tourneys, dinners, and just all the Friday night fun!
