It seems like it always takes a few days to get back to the old everyday routine after returning from a trip. Don't know if that is because I am old and need time to recover or if it is because I really prefer to be on the go and not in an everyday routine. I hope it is because of the latter and not because I am old. Although, my kids and grandkids would say it is because I am old. For some reason they have me living in the basement of my eldest child's house as a senile old women. lol. Anyway, I think I am back to everyday happenings.(no matter how boring that may be)
The state of the economy has us a little concerned. Sure hope the Stock Market starts to rally and we can earn back some of our retirement income. You can lose money in a hurry in the Market but you can earn it back pretty fast also. Here's hoping all the stuff that is going on in the world to help correct all the bad decisions that were made with mortgage lending will work and the economy can get back to a relatively stable condition.
Greed is very destructive. But the sad thing is we will always have people in this world that will be greedy and never know when enough is enough. That is just a fact and it is one of those negative things we can count on. But in the end they will pay for their greed. It won't be tomorrow but it will happen. That is one other thing we can count on. Enough of my ramblings.
I need to go and bake an Oatmeal Cake for Family Home Evening tonight. We are responsible for the treat tonight. I think that is why most of us attend. You know, for the treat.

Yep, you can live in the basement with your computer and we will turn dad loose in the basement with a toilet brush and let him scrub until his heart is content.
