ANOTHER WEDNESDAY

Well, actually it is the end of another Wednesday. I don't know what it is about the middle of week but it just seems to be so mediocre. Maybe we should have some kind of Wednesday holiday. You, know, like they have Monday holidays? That way we would look forward to the middle of the week. I don't know how well that would work. It would sort of interrupt the work week but who knows maybe that would be a good thing.

You, know, I have been watching the information that that has been all over the media about Sarah Palin. I can't help but feel so bad for her Daughter and her Daughter's Boyfriend. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to be 17 years old and have a baby on the way, much less have the whole world know of the situation. It seems the Clintons could do most anything and people would excuse them for all wrong doings. But now this relatively unknown family is being crucified in the media. It seems the media feels they have the right to do and say anything because of the first amendment but do they really? I think the media feels they are there to make all of our decisions for us. To tell us how we should think and what we need to do. Maybe it is time that we stop watching all these news channels and go back to thinking for ourselves. What makes it difficult to think for ourselves is that we really have no where to go to just get the facts. And without the facts we have no way of making intelligent decisions. We need to go back to the days when the news just gave us the facts. We can do without petty gossip and mud slinging. As Sgt. Friday used to say on Dragnet, "Just the facts, Maam, just the facts.
