I guess we will be having a quiet July 4th around here this year. Why is it that a Holiday just doesn't seem like a Holiday unless there is a large group of people hanging out around the house? We will probably go to the City Park for an early morning breakfast and maybe watch the Parade and then in the evening we will watch the fireworks. Mt. Pleasant has always had a great fireworks show. We can see most of them from our front yard but who knows maybe we will be really ambitious and go to the cemetery to watch them this year. It has always seemed a little strange that you sit in the city cemetery to watch fireworks but that is the way it is here. (Some times I wonder if they are trying to wake the dead. haha)

Sounds like you need a house full of grandkids to add some excitement to your holiday!!! We are going to a neighborhood party. It will be our last one here. Kind of sad. We LOVE our neighbors here and saying goodbye is never easy.
