I remember when I was young how exciting the days were before Christmas. How you counted down everyday. You would cheat a little bit and say it was one less day if you didn't count that day. It was so magical. The atmosphere was so strong and special that it remains ingrained in you no matter how old you become. When, for some reason, the season comes and goes and that feeling never happens it as though a Christmas was missed. I hope that my Children and my Grandchildren have that same feeling at this time of year and no matter what happens in their lives, they can sit back during the Holidays and remember those special, magical times that they experienced as a young child. We should all strive to keep that within us. For, I believe that is it Christ letting us experience , in a very small way, what it would be like to be standing in his presence. So, let's see, it is one day before Christmas, if we don't count today.
Have a great Sunday and don't take Christ out of Christmas.

Christmas is almost here. I will be celebrating mine in San Francisco. I have also celebrated the Christmas feeling in Austin, Texas; Temple, Texas; Provo, Utah; Salt Lake, Utah; and St. George, Utah. I guess where ever you spend it the Christmas spirit will linger. Have a fun Chirstmas!
So, I guess Travis decided that spending Christmas in San Francisco would be better than here? JK. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas no matter where they spend it or who they spend it with.
