Here it is, almost the beginning of a New Year, 2008. Eight years ago today we were wondering if the World was going to go berserk or if things would go on the same old way when it became the year 2000. Guess what? We woke up on Jan 1, 2000 and everything was just the way it was on December 31, 1999. We humans are curious beings. We seem to want to make change a dramatic event. Maybe it is because we are always hoping things will be better by some magical event or maybe even a little worse. But the fact is things are what we make them. May we all work to make our World a better to place by doing the little things that count in the New Year. If we help a neighbor, be kind to one another and embrace our differences we can make a difference. At least in the part of the World we occupy.
