Just passing some time while I wait to find out if I am really sleepy or just kidding myself.
This week has been uneventful. Just two old retirees sitting around wondering where we are and who we are.HA
Lee visited a boat dealer today and it is looking like they are interested. He is going to go to lunch with them after Thanksgiving. Keep your fingers crossed.
I have always thought that there was a huge mistake made when I was born. I know I was meant to have been born into a really wealthy family. It comes so natural for me to say things like, Home, James, Cook what are we having for dinner, and has my new wardrobe arrived from Sacs Fifth Avenue yet. But here I sit with no James, no cook and no maid. I think the people who say money isn't everything are the ones that have money. Don't you? It is just a little unfair, especially at this time of year, that only a small percentage of the world's population is independently wealthy. I know that if I were I would buy everyone I know exactly what they wanted for Christmas. No matter how much it would cost. Because, I believe everyone should have at least one Christmas that they get just exactly what they wanted. I would share my worldly fortune with all those I know. It wouldn't be any fun if the people you know and love couldn't do all the exciting things along with you. I think it would be so fun to do something like some of the people in the entertainment world have done. Like seeing someone looking at something they really wanted but couldn't afford it and then buying it for them. But not let them know who bought it. Wouldn't that be the greatest feeling. You know, I guess if I was wealthy I probably wouldn't be for very long, because I would enjoy spending it too much. So, I will be satisfied with being wealthy in the ways that count. I have a terrific family. Great Kids, Fabulous Grand kids and all the things money can't buy. Loving Husband, who makes our lives comfortable and fun and two wonderful places to live. Really, who could ask for more?

Money isn't everything. . .I mean look at Britney Spears for example. She has more money than she knows what to do with and her life is a MESS! There is a quote that I have hanging in my house that helps me to try and keep things in perspective. . .
"The Most Important Things in Life Aren't Things"
You are right: Family, Friends, Memories, those are what really matter. They are the only things that we can take with us into the next life anyway. :)
Have a great weekend!!!
i don't think you are such a poor person. I would think if you looked at it statistically you are probably in the top 3-4% when compared to the overall world.
So since you are so rich and since Christmas is coming up and you want to "buy everyone exactly what they want, no matter how much it cost" then I will get my list together for you!
YAY! I am getting my list together too!!! Thanks for the heads-up Travis!!! :)
This blog isn't being updated. . .remember what you said??? "there are bloggers and then there BLOGGERS" HMMMM, which one are you??? LOL!
