We need time to call our own

I think that it is time to take time for ourselves. NO guilt, NO worrying about what needs to be done, concentrate on what we've done and just enjoy an hour doing nothing. You know it doesn't take a long time to recover from exasperation. Even an hour three times a week can help. I know when I was Primary President at the age of 25 I thought I had to be everything to everybody. But the Stake Primary President said something to me that made me stop and think. She said," You are young and have alot of energy and you expend it too much. Slow down and take a moment to live life. One day you will burn out and it will be difficult to regain what you have now. " Now that I am older I understand what she meant. There are times I think I did burn out and boy, trying to start the fire again isn't easy at my age. You know the scripture that says there is a season for everything. Don't try to experience everything in your first season. There are other seasons for you to use to experience things in. Take a deep breath and let yourself think about the days accomplishments instead of thinking about what you should have done.

I know, but sometimes it is easier said than done. . .

It so easy to caught up in what NEEDS to be done and forget about taking time to relax.

I am working hard on trying to have a better balance of both in my life.

Thanks for your blog today. You and Trex both wrote what I needed to hear after the week I have had.

Have a great weekend!
