Unexpected happenings

We received a phone call from Lena yesterday and it made me realize how life can change in a flash. Tom's daughter, Lindsey, was killed in a car accident. She was just 18 years old. She had her whole life ahead of her. It is so humbling to know that one minute our life is going along in a set rhythm and the next minute something can happen and send us in a tail spin. All I know is there are things we have no control over and when they happen we need to understand there is someone much greater than we are and He knows why everything happens. We will miss Lindsey and our love and prayers are with Lena, Tom and family. There is one thing I do know without any doubt, one day they will be reunited with her and will be able once again to enjoy her sweet spirit. I think we all need to take some time and let those around us know how much they mean to us and how our lives are so much better because they are a part of it. Love to all of you.
